Our Mission

Tri-City United (TCU) Hockey is a youth hockey organization encompassing the Le Center, Lonsdale, and Montgomery school districts. Our mission is to provide an affordable hockey program which teaches sports fundamentals and gives all players the opportunity to participate. TCU Hockey, formally known as Montgomery Hockey Association, is a 501c3 organization committed to supporting well-rounded young athletes. Playing sports teaches children commitment and teamwork that helps them in all aspects of life.

History

In 2012 TCU Hockey was created from the orginal Montgomery Hockey Association and quickly emerged as a beacon of excitement and opportunity for young hockey enthusiasts in our community. The organization was born out of the collective passion of local parents and community members who sought to provide a platform for children to learn and excel in the beloved sport of ice hockey. From its inception, TCU Hockey committed itself to fostering an environment that values sportsmanship, skill development, and teamwork. Through the years, the program has grown steadily, attracting an increasing number of eager participants from Lonsdale, Montgomery, LeCenter and neighboring communities. With dedicated coaches and volunteers, TCU Hockey has consistently delivered motiviated coaches and mentorship to its players, ensuring they not only hone their athletic abilities but also build character and resilience both on and off the ice.

Since its founding, TCU Hockey has established itself as a vital part of the local sports landscape. The organization's emphasis on inclusivity and a supportive community has fostered a tight-knit network of families, players, and fans.
